IBS Shouldn’t Rule Your Life

IBS is a chronic condition but that doesn’t mean you should “live with it.”

As an IBS dietitian, I help women with IBS learn how to manage their life-disrupting gut symptoms so they can stop feeling anxious around food and get their life back.

My Philosophy

I believe that with the right knowledge, guidance, and support, IBS can be conquered. Gut symptoms don’t have to rule your personal, social, or professional life. There are science-backed strategies that can help you find relief and give you freedom, so you can focus on what is important to you: family, career, hobbies, or travel.

There is a lot of information out there on how to manage IBS and it can be confusing and overwhelming. I specialized in the management of IBS so I can help my clients get clarity about the diet and lifestyle strategies that work and feel empowered to apply them to their own life

Education, Credentials & Training

  • Bachelors of Science in English Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
  • Masters in Nutritional Science from San Jose State University, California
  • Registered Dietitian (RD)
  • Trained in the Low FODMAP Diet for IBS by Monash University, Melbourne, Australia

Trust Me, I Get It!

As an IBS dietitian working exclusively with IBS clients since 2018, I’ve heard too many times how a doctor can send their patients on their way with a recommendation for a laxative or anti-diarrheal and a handout with a list of foods to avoid. And how this can leave you feeling dismissed and alone. Googling how to eat for IBS causes you to feel confused and overwhelmed with all the conflicting information.

I have specialized in the dietary management of IBS and continue to dive deeper so that, as an IBS dietitian, I can provide my clients with the best, most up-to-date strategies for the management of IBS.

I love creating gut-loving recipes for my clients that are both tasty and nutritious. I firmly believe that, just because you are struggling with gut symptoms, it doesn’t mean you can’t eat delicious food!
